Composition and basic properties: It is a copper-based alloy containing 0.20-0.60% beryllium and 1.40-2.20% nickel. It belongs to the precipitation-strengthened ternary alloy category, with a density of 8.83g/cm³, a melting point ranging from 1000 to 1070℃, and a softening temperature of approximately 600℃.
Mechanical properties: After solution and aging treatment, the tensile strength is 590-710N/mm², the yield strength is 520-670N/mm², and the hardness is ≥220HV. It combines high strength, high elasticity, and fatigue resistance, and can replace some special steels.
Physical properties: conductivity of 45%-60% IACS, thermal conductivity close to that of pure copper, high heat dissipation efficiency, non-magnetic, no spark generated upon impact, suitable for thermal management and conductive applications.
Corrosion and wear resistance: It exhibits excellent corrosion resistance in the atmosphere, fresh water, and seawater, with an annual corrosion depth in seawater of only 0.011-0.014mm. It boasts high surface hardness and strong wear resistance, making it suitable for high-frequency friction components.
Processing characteristics: After solution treatment, it exhibits good plasticity and can be processed into complex shapes through stamping, forging, and other methods. After aging treatment, its performance remains stable, and its dimensional accuracy is easily controllable.
