Beryllium Cobalt Bronze Medal C17500
C17500 beryllium cobalt copper is a typical precipitation strengthened copper alloy, which has high strength, elasticity, hardness, high conductivity, thermal conductivity, high wear resistance, corrosion resistance, high and low temperature resistance, non-magnetic, and does not produce sparks during impact. It also has excellent processing performance and can be processed into complex shapes using various forming methods.

C17500 beryllium cobalt copper process performance:
1. Molding performance: It has good thermoformability and can be hot extruded, hot rolled, and forged. It has good cold workability and can be used for cold rolling, stamping, bending, spinning, and hydraulic forming.
2. Welding performance: It has good weldability and is easy to solder and weld, including tin welding, resistance welding, plasma welding, electron beam welding, and laser welding. Components used under vacuum or high pressure are easy to use for electron beam welding.

C17500 beryllium cobalt copper cutting performance:
Cutting machinability is 20%. Pre aging or aging can improve its cutting performance.
C17500 beryllium cobalt copper is mainly used in fuses, fasteners, springs, switch components, electrical contact devices, wires, resistance welding electrode heads, seam welding electrode pads, plastic molds, etc.

The use of C17500 beryllium cobalt copper with excellent thermal conductivity:
It can be widely used in molds, cores, and embedded parts that require rapid and uniform cooling, especially for high thermal conductivity, corrosion resistance, and good polishing requirements.
Blow molded mold: inserts for the clamping section, force ring, and handle area.
Injection mold: an insert in the corner of a mold, mold core, or television casing.
Injection molding: The converging cavity of the nozzle and hot runner system.
